The importance of quiet moments and quiet activities in events

The increasing amount of conferences and seminars indicate an exciting post-pandemic era. Virtual events are great, but nothing beats the buzz of physically being part of a crowd in a large space, as many people like virtual experiences now a days, including virtual casino games by playing online in site like the golden star casino and others. These spaces can be designated rooms, lounges, or outdoor areas where attendees can sit, relax, and recharge. Quiet spaces can have a profound impact on attendees’ well-being, allowing them to clear their minds, refocus, and reduce stress levels. Note however that quiet spaces are different from networking corners, where attendees have the space to network and engage in meaningful conversations without the distractions of the conference floor.

These activities can be incorporated into the event schedule or offered as optional sessions during breaks. We at Sigi have incorporated energized breathing and movement sessions in a packed 2-day seminar. The sessions include light exercise and relaxation based on the Beksa principle of Javanese dance. Participants were highly appreciative of these sessions as a break from all the absorbing and reflecting and sharing of the seminar materials. The Beksa exercise was also much more preferred than high intensity games because of its low impact and silent nature.
